Ella River Front

Staff were really welcoming, the room was spacious and had a beautiful view, we even got the company of some monkeys! Breakfast was great and nothing was too much to ask for The hotel also offered a tuk tuk service from the Ella train station, make sure you use this service as the tuk tuk guy also took us the next day on a tour off all the main Ella attractions and he was great, highly recommend!

Gorgeous place to stay just a couple of minutes tuktuk drive from the main area of Ella. Hosts were super warm and welcoming. Bedroom was clean and comfortable with gorgeous views of the hills!

What an amazing pace the stay! In had the honey Moon suite and it is definitely worth it ! Very nice, very pretty and an amazing view. I felt so comfortable! The host ist just amazing though. She is so lovely and takes so much good care of her customers. It felt ila bit like visiting your family. She coked every morning a beautiful and delicious breakfast and it always changed a bit. Just amazing ! I am so thankful that I made this experience and I would always come back again ! Thank you so much! P.s. if every person would be like her the world would be an amazing place !

The rooms were not well serviced or mantained. Hair down the shower tray plug hole ment that the water flowed away very slowly and the tray was at the point of overflowing at the end of your shower. The same with the sink the pipe under the sink had been crushed and would therefore clog very easily. One of the electrical sockets was coming out of the wall, you had to hold the socket inplace to remove the plug. Also the power went out on multiple occasions. But that seems to be an Ella wide problem. Could last 2 seconds 2 minutes or 6 hours, you never know, bring a tourch. The room was quite noisy. There are gaps between the walls and the ceiling so any sound travels unchecked in to your room. I never saw a pool table but i could hear the balls colliding as if the table was in the room, but the main noise was from the dog which could bark for hours at a time. Not the peaceful retreat i had hoped for.
