Landal Kenwick Woods

The property was clean, chic and classy! So spacious and worthy of 5 stars. The site itself had beautiful facilities at excellent value for money. We booked a swimming slot for 1 hour and was left to enjoy it till we decided to leave, likewise the gym and sauna etc. I am a spa enthusiast, but now I’ve found this place, I think I would happily visit here for 2 nights, be confident that I’d get that same experience at a much better price. The staff were fantastic from start to finish, and the spa treatments I had were exceptional (thanks Evie!). We’ve all got major holiday blues lol and can’t wait to return

There’s nothing to not like! My only comments would be to bring extra pots for cooking and products for cleaning, and a fire stick for the tv if you want more than Netflix. Nothing major at all!

Our lodge was in its own little section of the woods so it felt very private. On arrival the lodge looked like something from a story book, just sitting there in the woods on its own! It was beautiful both in and out.

Although the lodge had seating for 4 people in the dinning area / living area, it felt very cramped and was uncomfortable so me, my husband and 2 children couldn’t sit together at night.

Lovely quiet location. Great hot tub. Nicely presented lodge with everything you need. Had an evening meal at hotel which was very nice. Husband had an excellent massage at the spa. Lovely deck area to sit on and lots of nice walks.. clearly very dog friendly too.

We chose a 2 person lodge with hot tub. Toilet was very small with no grab rail so not suitable really. Microwave was about 6 feet high so very difficult to use safely. Lodge needed a good scrub ..dusty and grubby. Take extra towels since only 2 bath ..v small and 2 hand towels provided. Take extra tea towels since no where to drain dished. The hob was difficult for us since we are used to fas hob ,so try it out before you want to cook No freeze compartment sl take cold box and get ice from shop at lodge reception

Location in the woods was lovely, and was a good size lodge. Facilities were good for the most part, with swimming, golf and bike hire all available.

The property didn’t have wifi which was fine as not advertised, but the TV wasn’t usable- not the worst thing in the world but annoying when after a long day exploring, it’s nice to sit down as a family watching TV and eating dinner. The hot tub wasn’t hot and was warm, despite keep trying to heat it up. The bed was very small, we ended up sleeping in the twin room pushing the beds together. The shop wasn’t open over the weekend, which was super annoying when a lot of guests visit for long weekends, would have been nice for essentials. We also had to pay a pet charge despite not being notified before booking the property and booking a pet friendly lodge, this needs to be more clear when booking.
