Handy for visiting attractions parking free and lodge was comfortable with all amenities we needed.
Not as private as we’d hoped lots of dogs some very noisy and could have been cleaner especially hot tub.

The lodge was very clean, well equipped, hot tub clean and nice temperature. Generally peaceful with one exception. The site has a hotel, restaurant where you can get a takeaway, a bit expensive but nice.
You couldn't drive your car up to the lodge, had to be kept in a car park even for loading and unloading which I wasn't aware. Husband disabled. The site is dog friendly which is why we chose this site but it also is a venue for weddings, parties etc so on the Friday night they let off fireworks which I wasn't told. I think we should have been told when we collected our keys and they took the pet charge.

the location was good for us as we wanted a quiet place for a break.the lodge was very spacious and clean every thing we needed.good bar and restaurant lovely area outside with plenty of shade to sit .
as this resort has not been going that many years i think they have done very well so would not be fair to say that we did not like anything.
