Scandi Style Apartment in Central Falmouth

Kitchen and living area are quite good and fairly accurate. Dishwasher, hob, oven, washing machine and decent selection of cookware. 15 minute walk down a hill to the town centre and about the same in another direction to Gylly beach. Only street parking, but we always managed to find space in the area. The place was very clean.

Unfortunately, the bed and mattress are awful and the curtains let in significant street light. For holiday accommodation, getting a good night sleep is top priority. So when this is poor, the whole place is a let down. Firstly, the bed was tiny- at best double, definitely not queen which is normally standard for a place rented for a couple. The mattress itself dips in a lot, but the worst part is the bed. It's very old, with pieces of metal connected - the slightest movement and the whole bed shakes and creaks loudly. Getting up in the night means waking the other person. The entire time it felt like the bed was going to fall apart. Replace the bed and mattress with a proper queen or, even better, king and a stable bed, and add black out curtains, then we'd come back. However, 5 nights with limited broken sleep means we definitely won't go back and can't recommend.

Washing machine with drier. Well equipped.

Bed wasn’t super comfortable. No milk or any extra little something that made us feel welcome when we arrived. No personal touches that we have experienced at other B&B’s. No contact name…..felt like emailing with a bot.

What breakfast?

I would have e liked instructions on how to work the TV.
