Stylish cottage in town centre - Tregavone Cottage

Fantastic location near the town centre.

Central location, nice decor, pristine, comfy bed, all that was needed in kitchen. Full of natural light.

Everything was great.

I chose Trevagone Cottage because of a few factors. 1) Good location - right near to Falmouth shops, pubs, eateries etc. 2) Able to park right outside the cottage. 3) One road away from the park. We used this daily for walking our dogs. 4) The cottage had hard floors, makes for easy daily vacuuming and mopping the floors if need be. 5) Provision of good quality vacuum, mop, bucket etc. Believe me, this is important with dogs.

Good size and style of sofa but it was uncomfortable. It's probably had too many bums that have sat on it! There was only minimal crockery, pots, bowls etc in the kitchen. The kitchen is only small and you wouldn't be cooking a full on meal, but maybe the items of crocks and utensils needs revising.

Location

Quaint little flat suits max 2 people. Despite being advertised as having ‘views’ , the only view is of the car space. A 10 minute walk downhill to the quay and high street, the location is very good. The bed is only a double - a queen would have been nice. Limited hot water - we ran out twice. You need Spider-Man like skills to get to the bathroom - not ideal for seniors or people with mobility issues. Pack lightly - very difficult to manage suitcases up stairs. The entrance was also very steep and slippery. Neighbours’ noise from adjoining flat also loud at times. Limited cooking utensils (no saucepans) so cooking not really an option. This studio would suit a lone traveller. It’s clean and well- presented. Loved Falmouth!
