Stylish cottage, log burner - Tregavone Cottage

This little house was tastefully decorated, full or character, clean and cosy. It is in a great location, close to town, walkable to the beach and with good pubs and cafes and a convenience store on the doorstep. It also has spare dog bowls which was thoughtful, and take-out reusable insulated mugs; great to take to the beach at the crack of dawn. It also had the BEST shower AND parking which is notoriously tricky at times in Falmouth.

This was NOT a problem for us, and didn't cause any issues or detract from the house in any way, but due to the steepness of the stairs, It might not be perfect for an elderly guest or anyone else with mobility issues.

Loved how local to all the amenities and facilities it was shops and start of main high street literally round the corner and down the hill.it was a very cosy well kept clean cottage that suited our needs lovely comfy bed and excellent selection of cooking utensils to aid easy food prep and cooking .will love to stay again and will definitely tell our friends and family. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I wouldn't say i didnt like but we found the parking space slightly small for our car . But probably fine for others.

Location

Quaint little flat suits max 2 people. Despite being advertised as having ‘views’ , the only view is of the car space. A 10 minute walk downhill to the quay and high street, the location is very good. The bed is only a double - a queen would have been nice. Limited hot water - we ran out twice. You need Spider-Man like skills to get to the bathroom - not ideal for seniors or people with mobility issues. Pack lightly - very difficult to manage suitcases up stairs. The entrance was also very steep and slippery. Neighbours’ noise from adjoining flat also loud at times. Limited cooking utensils (no saucepans) so cooking not really an option. This studio would suit a lone traveller. It’s clean and well- presented. Loved Falmouth!
