Great location near a couple of really nice bars but very quiet

The location was perfect. Close to a couple of lovely local pubs and village shop. Short walk to a small beach and access to the ferry to Falmouth. The double room was spacious and the bed comfortable. With plenty of storage. Bedding was clean and although the duvets were feather and one of our party was allergic, we did manage to find an alternative in the cupboards.

On arrival we really struggled to open the key box, hope they address this! This property is ideal for a family of four, two adults and two children. We were four adults. The twin beds would be fine for children but uncomfortable for adults. We had three nights of hardly any sleep! It’s very compact with little room to move around. The twin room also had a strong smell dogs between the beds. There is no carpet on the stairs or in any of the rooms which makes it VERY noisy when moving around. The sliding door to the bathroom is simply a screen, it does not create a barrier like a solid door would. There is also a large window in the bathroom which does not have frosted glass and the blind provided really is not fit for purpose. Some of the rooms have bare plastered walls which I know is a thing. However the lack of carpet and bare plastered walls made the property feel unfinished but that’s just my opinion. This is a lovely little cottage in a beautiful village but it has been decorated on a budget to offer the bare minimum. Parking is really tricky, we had two cars to find spaces for. But it’s not imposable.

Perfectly situated in the middle of Flushing. Cosy and modern interior - ideal couples. We were travelling with small children which also worked out well. Parking did not turn out to be such a problem on the street. Small village shop just around the corner for fresh bread. Pub two houses down, which was no problem in terms of noise. Ferry to Falmouth is 5min walk away. Beautiful walks around the peninsula.
