Spacious. Pleasant surroundings. Enjoyed inviting local family members to visit. With Fitness room and play center on site.
One of the door locks needed attention. As soon as I reported it, the owners offered to deal with it straightaway.

Found cooker instructions difficult to understand. Otherwise everything was excellent !
The directions to find the site said to turn right at the roundabout after ASDA. Unfortunately, due to growing trees, the ASDA is now virtually invisible ! Suggest change it to 'Turn right at Hillhead roundabout'.

Excellent holiday helped considerably with the brilliant weather. Not much to not like about the whole experience from booking with Sykes Cottages to the cottage itself. Very impressed by the cleanliness of the cottage and had all the facilities we needed. Already looking at booking again for next year.
Not a lot really, perhaps more space in the second bedroom for my wife and I.

Clean, comfortable and well resourced
A few irritating niggles: uncomfortable bed and pillows, broken tap, missing inner bin, no shelf and soap dispenser inadequate in en suite. Hand soap only available in one bathroom No cafetière
