Attic Center Sitges

Our booking and stay at Attic Centre apartment in Sitges was outstanding! Xavi, the owner was available for communication both before and during our stay. We were assisted with information regarding transfer from the airport and how to access the apartment on arrival. Once inside we were greeted by Rosana and her daughter who went to great efforts to explain everything we needed to know in English! We were shown the basic layout of the apartment & storage of supplies for cleaning, washing clothes and basics like coffee/cooking oil etc, all supplied. A bottle of red wine was waiting for us as a complementary welcome. The apartment itself is beautiful and situated perfectly in the busy town centre, a choice of 2 well equipped balconies, with bustling streets full of restaurants & shops, with the beach less than 5 minutes walk away. We loved El Secret restaurant/bar for food and drinks in its shady courtyard, just several minutes walk away. We also enjoyed the ‘locals’ bar opposite the entrance to the apartment block where local Spanish people met for drinks. Choices of restaurants and types of cuisine is huge and for those who are looking for lively bars, an area of interconnected streets hosting bars and nightclubs particularly welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community. We pre-booked a trip to Gaudi’s Park Guell in Barcelona-really interesting but so hot that it was difficult to manage the steps and slopes for anyone with mobility issues. We had been keen to visit the Sagrada Família but had not realised that booking is needed weeks in advance during peak season - we were disappointingly unable to book. We recommend booking well ahead for this magnificent venue. We were able to view the building from outside and it is truly breathtaking in its unique beauty and scale. Our only issue was that the lift in the apartment building stopped working on 2 occasions but repairs were swiftly organised and did not significantly impact our access. Highly recommend! 🌟
