About this house rental
The house combines historic charm with modern living comfort and preserves many original features that reflect its long history. During the renovation, old wooden floors were uncovered and restored, the half-timbering in the hallway was exposed, and a historic fieldstone niche was discovered. An old roof tile dating back to the time of Bishop Christoph Philipp von Sötern (1623–1652) also attests to the house’s historical heritage; it likely once served as the steward’s house for the church’s vineyard estate. The garden was deliberately left in its original style so that guests can enjoy an authentic, historically evolved atmosphere. Its quiet location and traditional character make the house ideal for guests who appreciate history and coziness.

The accommodation spans two floors and features three bedrooms—two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom—a bathroom, a spacious living room with satellite TV, and a separate dining room. The fully equipped kitchen includes, among other things, a dishwasher and all necessary kitchen utensils. Additional amenities include a parking space or bicycle garage, as well as provided bed linens, towels, and kitchen linens. The combination of renovated hardwood floors, exposed half-timbering, and modernized interiors creates a comfortable yet historically inspired living atmosphere.
On-site costs: Payment is due on-site in cash. Cancellations made up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge; cancellations made between 14 and 7 days before arrival will be charged 50% of the total cost; cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will be charged 100% of the total cost.Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Check-out is due by 10:30 AM. Other check-in and check-out times may be arranged upon request. Please contact us in a timely manner to make arrangements if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on-site or via a key box. You will receive the code for this well in advance of your arrival. A baby crib can be provided free of charge upon request.
