The apartment has efficient air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, mosquito screens on every window, and a well-equipped kitchen. The building is well maintained, has an elevator, and feels safe. A big plus was the owner's very quick response to the broken window - we reported the issue after arrival, and it was repaired promptly. The smart door entry system works via the internet and takes some time to learn - it can be advantage or disatvantage - depending on individual requirements.

The apartment did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price of over €900 for a one-week stay for five people and its very high Booking rating. For the entire stay, only two rolls of toilet paper were provided. There were no paper towels, dishwashing liquid, dish towels, extra garbage bags, or basic cleaning equipment such as a broom, mop, or vacuum cleaner, making it difficult to keep the apartment clean during a week-long stay. Only three dishwasher tablets were provided, alongside two dishwasher cleaning tablets that could easily be mistaken for regular ones. When we asked the owner if it would be possible to provide a few more dishwasher tablets and some dishwashing liquid, we were told it would be too expensive, which we found surprising given the price of the apartment. The overall cleanliness could also have been better. At first glance the apartment appeared clean, but on closer inspection we found sticky cabinet handles, dust and debris in the cutlery drawer, a few dishes that had not been properly cleaned, spilled oil on top of one of the kitchen cabinets, and dust on several pieces of furniture and equipment. When we arrived, one window could not be closed and the shutter on the same window was jammed. There were also quite a few mosquitoes inside the apartment despite the mosquito screens. The apartment showed signs of wear, including damaged drawers and inside doors that did not close properly. Instead of wardrobes, the bedrooms had floor-to-ceiling tension clothing racks. One not securely fixed and could pose a safety risk for small children if pulled. The apartment description also mentioned a DVD player, but there was none. It is worth being aware that many of the local shops and the neighborhood has a distinctly multicultural atmosphere.
