Villa Palmera 100m from the beach

Η βίλα ήταν πολύ άνετη και πεντακάθαρη, πλήρως εξοπλισμένη και οργανωμένη με οτιδήποτε χρειαστηκαμε ως παρέα 6 ατόμων. Η Αφροδίτη και η οικογένειά της ήταν πολύ φιλικοί και πρόσχαροι και με διάθεση να μας βοηθήσουν σε όποιο αίτημα ή να δώσουν πληροφορίες και συμβουλές για τη περιοχή και που μπορούμε να πάμε. Η θάλασσα είναι πολύ κοντά, με τέλειο νερό και καθαρή.

Δε μπορώ να πω ότι υπάρχει κάτι που δε μας άρεσε, ήμασταν παραπάνω από ευχαριστημένοι με την όλη εμπειρία!

Villa Palmera is immaculate with beautifully maintained grounds where we loved seeing pomegranate, lemon, orange and fig trees heavy with fruit. The interiors are also spotlessly clean and we had a very comfortable stay! The hosts are incredibly welcoming and warm. The beach is 3 min walk down the road, it is mostly pebbly (so swimming shoes are recommended) like many beaches in the area but the waters are crystal clear and full of different types of small and bigger fish! In the morning the water is very still but in the afternoon usually the wind turned and more waves appeared. We drove 15min to the other side of the peninsula in the afternoons to have still waters there. Many other beaches to explore within 10-15min drive. Villa Palmera is located in a quiet and secluded area, which we valued very much yet there are nice restaurants within 18min walk along the beach towards Nikiti, or 3 min drive and free parking is possible and easy on the little marina so it was really easy to go out for dinner or for an evening stroll. A highlight for us was the outdoor shower: so nice and practical after a day on the beach we loved using it! Lastly we had reported to the hosts a small electrical issue with a lamp and an electrician was sent straight away and fixed it swiftly. All in all a great stay if you are looking for a quiet place with direct beach access and easy access to other amenities.

There are a few things that could be added to make things even better such a dish drying wrack, a good kitchen knife, and some beach towels and portable beach chair would be very useful
