Riad Num 8, Al Yabane street, Marassa street

We had the best time staying at this riad, and one of the best experiences we had in Morocco. You are actually staying in the family home, and they make you feel at home and part of the family. The host was really easy to communicate with before we arrived, and took great care of us. The riad itself is beautiful! The room we had was super comfortable and had everything we needed. As we arrived later in the afternoon, we had dinner at the riad rather than venturing out. The host's wife cooked us the most delicious meat and vegetable tagine. The parking is right outside the riad and the host will make sure to reserve a space for you if you let him know your arrival time. We only stayed for one night but would definitely go back and spend longer there.

Die Unterkunft wird von einer sehr zuvorkommenden und sehr gastfreundlichen Familie vermietet. Man taucht direkt ins Familienleben ein, hat aber auch die Möglichkeit sich zurückzuziehen. Französisch oder arabisch zu sprechen ist vom Vorteil, aber auch mit meinem extrem gebrochenen französisch konnten wir uns verständigen. Auch ansonsten alles top. Insgesamt eine sehr lohnenswerte Unterkunft und was anderes als rein touristische Unterkünfte. Shukran Bzaf :)

The traditional family home is a unique experience. Located near the city centre and with secure parking nearby, this rare gem is close to the main tourist attractions. The family is very welcoming and easy-going. If you want to experience everyday life in a traditional home, away from hotels, this is the place for you! I was also able to use the kitchen to prepare my vegetarian meals. Just be aware that this is not a hotel, but that you are staying with a family and should treat them with respect.

All good, but I didn't expect a five star hotel.

Stay here if you would like to experience a real Moroccan home, with the lovely Kedira. The room is large and very clean, the bed is comfortable, the shared bathroom is spotless. The location is perfect: close to the walled old town, yet surprisingly quiet. Only a little family noise, nothing else.

Everything was great, Kedira even prepared my favourite tea in the morning!
