If I could give this stay 10 stars out of 5, I would! First of all, hosting magic aside, Quartier L'Océan is an absolute dream. It was voted the 2nd Coolest Neighborhood on Earth—and while I haven’t checked out #1 in South Korea yet, this spot sets the bar impossibly high! Digital nomads, rejoice: the WiFi here is ridiculously fast. None of those annoying first-world blind spots where the signal drops if you step two inches to the left. Seamless, high-speed connection everywhere. The location is total perfection. Whether you want to stroll down the ocean boulevard or immerse yourself in the Médina, everything is a stone's throw away. (Local perk: I stumbled upon Café Centre Ville near Bab L'Had, which is open 24/7!). Despite being so close to all the action, the place is incredibly quiet, feels super safe, and acts as a peaceful sanctuary. It’s that rare, magical combo: a mini silent retreat for total rest and relaxation, surrounded by the lively energy of the city. As a staycation experience, this exceeded every expectation. An absolute 10/10 stay with a host who truly goes above and beyond—I’ll definitely be back!

If I have to complain about something, it’s that this stay completely ruined my financial sanity. Coming from Amsterdam, staying here gave me an existential crisis. A place with this kind of vibe, space, and peace back home would easily set you back €300 a night—and during King’s Day? Good luck, you’re paying €500 minimum just to sleep in a glorified broom closet! I seriously contemplated asking the host if I could just buy the entire monument. My only real concern now is 2030. Once the rest of the world (the wolves!) catches on to the absolute peace, calm, and safety of Rabat, prices are going to 5x permanently. I honestly considered leaving a fake 1-star review just to keep this hidden gem a secret forever, but the host is way too nice for that. (Please, universe, let me be wrong about the price hike so I can keep coming back!)

Spacious room, comfortable bed and lots of storage. Location is great too, coffee shop around the corner, walking distance to the beach and the medina and lots of shops around too. The staff were kind and helpful as well.

The sheets and towels were dirty/ stained. The roof top was quite underwhelming compared to the photos. The doors to our room were covered in bird poop?
