Otherwise you can make trips to the Lüneburg Heath. Lüneburg with its beautiful old town and Hamburg are also very easy to reach by car or by train. The good motorway connections A39, A7 and A1 make it easy to get to the North Sea, Baltic Sea, Wendland and Lüneburg Heath, for example.
Location description: Ashausen is a village with approx. 3,000 inhabitants. In the village there is a small Edeka shop/bakery, a bank, a café, a post office, an organic food shop and a doctor. There are restaurants in the neighbouring village. You can go for a nice walk along the mill pond. There is a large flea market on the first Sunday in June.
Other sports and leisure activities : The area is particularly suitable for hiking and cycling. There is an outdoor swimming pool in the neighbouring village of Stelle, approx. 3 km away. In Winsen, approx. 5 km away, there is a climbing park and the leisure pool "Die Insel".
