Enjoy the freedom to choose between the tranquility of the countryside and the urban hustle and bustle of Hamburg or Lüneburg.
Hike through the Lüneburg Heath, enjoy a stroll along the Luhe River (just a 5-minute walk from the vacation rental), bike from here to the Elbe River or to Lüneburg (no problem with an e-bike), play golf at a golf club (5 minutes by car), stroll through the small town of Winsen/Luhe with its castle and lovely pedestrian zone, or explore the Hanseatic cities of Hamburg and Lüneburg. Whether by train from Winsen/Luhe (5 minutes by car) or by car, the Hanseatic cities are within easy reach.
Children will enjoy the swimming pools in Winsen-Luhe, the barefoot park in Egestorf, the Lüneburg Heath Wildlife Park, and much more.

About the town and the apartment:
Luhdorf is a suburb of Winsen Luhe. Here you’ll find a farm stand with regional products such as cheese, sausage, eggs, honey, and much more, as well as two bakeries. At one of our bakeries, you can have breakfast in the morning or settle in for a slice of cake and a coffee in the afternoon.
The vacation rental has a long history. It started as a barn, then became a beauty salon, and now—freshly renovated—it’s a vacation rental. It features a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast nook, a large living and dining room with a large sleeper sofa (160x202 with a topper), a smart TV, a dining table with 4 chairs, and a wood-burning stove; a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and an extra-large whirlpool tub; and a cozy bedroom with a box-spring bed (140x200). A terrace with seating is available for guests. The parking space is right in front of the vacation rental’s door. E-bikes can be locked up.
Bed linens, towels, soap, and a hair dryer are provided.
Free Wi-Fi is, of course, included.
If you’d like a little extra pampering, you’re welcome to book the sauna attached to the vacation rental for an additional fee. We provide bathrobes (M+L), sauna towels, and sauna infusion concentrate upon booking (the sauna can also be booked during your stay).
For our younger guests, we can provide 1 travel crib and an adjustable high chair.
