About this apartment rental
Beautiful, high-quality, modern vacation apartments right on the Dove-Elbe.
Our two high-quality, 50-square-meter vacation apartments were completed in March 2018.
Elbblick1 and Elbblick2 are located in the same building and are furnished exactly the same way.
Our fully equipped kitchen-living room features a refrigerator, an oven, a dishwasher, a stovetop, and a dining table for four people.
The living room features a sleeper sofa for 2 people and cable TV.
The bedroom has a 1.60 m wide double bed and a large closet, suitable even for longer stays.
The modern bathroom has a shower, a toilet, and a large sink. Bedding is included, and towels are available upon request for a small fee.
Wi-Fi is also free of charge.
There is a communal garden across the street. (Feel free to ask.)
The garden directly next to the house is NOT available for use!
But numerous jetties along the Elbe invite you to go swimming!!! Excellent water quality!!!!
Here, nature and city life go hand in hand. Swimming and fishing are available right outside the door.
The Vier- und Marschlande region right on your doorstep offers many recreational activities, such as canoe rentals, bike tours, road bike routes, rowing regattas, surfing, a golf course, hot-air balloon rides, horseback riding and farms, the Boberg Dunes, and much more. A water ski facility (15 km away) and climbing spots are within easy reach.
It takes about 15 minutes by car to reach HafenCity and the Elbphilharmonie.
A bus stop right next to the vacation rental (100 m) as well as good S-Bahn and highway connections will take you to the city center in 15 minutes.
Bicycle parking is also available across the street. Feel free to ask us at

Advertised “Waterfront”, but be aware that back yard by the river appears to be leased to long term tenants.

The apartment was very comfortable, clean, modern and just as advertised. The hosts were very accommodating, responsive and somehow managed to meet all of our needs 100% remotely. The real treasure of this apartment is its proximity to nature and outdoor activities - paddling on the Elbe, cycling, or playing/picnicking in the nearby park with vast lawns, a lake, Elbe access and walking trails. Services are conveniently nearby as well as an S-bahn station if you don't want to drive to the city center. I used to live in Hamburg but this was my first time in this part of the city. It's definitely my new favorite if you want to be close to the city but have the peace and quiet of nature.
