Apulia Re' Aparthotel & Suites

Wonderful family running this aparthotel, they were so kind and informative. They felt like family! They made lots of recommendations and helped when my partner was unwell when we arrived. Room has everything you need, very clean and having the balcony was such a nice bonus too.

The cleaning person starts quite early at 9 so if you want your room cleaned you have to be out of the room by then, we asked for more time one of the days as my partner was not feeling well but it is not possible to clean the room if you are not ready to leave when she’s there.

The location of the property was of easy access to the station & old town. The apartment was tastefully decorated & very comfortable. Mario & his family are very friendly & helpful hosts.

We would have preferred to have more healthy options for breakfast.

Una vera sorpresa! Siamo stati benissimo. Coccolati fin dal nostro arrivo da Vincenzo, sua moglie ed i loro figli. La struttura è stata appena ristrutturata con gusto e attenzione ai dettagli. Gli appartamenti comodi, spaziosi e completi di ogni comfort. La colazione a buffet ricca di prodotti locali di altissima qualità, sia dolce che salato. Ci hanno dato tanti suggerimenti su ristoranti, negozietti e attività da fare, rendendo la nostra vacanza ancora più fluida e piacevole. Questa è vera ospitalità! Inoltre la posizione è strategica. A due passi dalla stazione (comoda per raggiungere le bellissime località circostanti) e a 10 minuti a piedi da Bari Vecchia, una vera posizione strategica.

Hotel is perfectly located for Bari Centrale Train station which is a 20minute walk away, ideal if you are exploring the surrounding area. It is also within 30mins walking distance of the stunning old town . Our flight was delayed which meant an after midnight arrival , we were met and warmly welcomed by Fabio and his dad . Check in was efficient and straight forward . We were shown to room 41 on the 4th floor , there is a lift . The rooms are very secure and are accessed via electronic passcode. Our room was like a small flat with lounge , kitchen, dining area and balcony. Spacious shower and bathroom and large bedroom with a small balcony overlooking the street for sitting out . Lots of room and storage for clothes and air con Breakfast was not included but can be purchased separately and is well worth the cost. There is everything you could ask for , stunning local produce , fruits , breads, pastries , specially made toastiest, also cooked eggs on request nothing is too much trouble . We used the hotel as a base for our travels and visited , Alberobello, Ostuni , Polignano a mare, Monopoli, Lecce ,Locorotondo and Matera , most by train but Matera and Alberobello by coach . We had a wonderful time in Puglia and will certainly return to this wonderful hotel when we do . Thank you Fabio and family. Travel Tips : Puglia is not so tourist focused as many other Italian areas which is part of its charm. Sign posting isn’t great . Some of the lovely old towns are not directly at the bus or train stations and signage is limited, have your google maps ready !! Taxis seem to be rare although there are a few at the train station .
