Nice touches like a basket of blankets so you could sit out on the balcony at night - even if it got cold. Smart TV so we could use our streaming services to watch a movie at night. The view - We picked this caravan as there was a direct view of the heathland with no obstructions by other caravans (it was the reason we picked this one). It was great to sit on the balcony with a coffee when we got up or before we went to bed.

We had been warned of possible ants in the caravan (warning was a general message about any accommodation)... but sadly they were all around the kitchen and lounge when we arrived. Ant spray was provided though so we were able to deal with them. We also made sure surface were kept clean. It did not impact on the enjoyment of the caravan as ants are everywhere at the moment due to the unprecedented heat.

We arrived to start our holiday, keys were in a key save box. We entered to find a lovely modern well equipped caravan. The caravans in a good location with views across a nature reserve and a couple of minutes walk to a stoney beach.

It's near to Felixstowe docks, so noisy at times. Would have been nice to have proper parking, tarmac, like most of the caravans nearby.

Lovely seating , spacious, nice veranda/decking . Big bedroom . 2 bathrooms with showers .

Prefer earlier check in and later check out times (bit rushed to check out for 10.00am. Couldn’t get TV to work normally ? )First step down on decking bit steep )

The location is fantastic and very convenient, please be mindful, you are near a 24 hour sea port etc, so a little noise can be heard, The nature reserve is lovely, its very close to Felixstowe town etc. I like Felixstowe.

MMM not sure where to begin to be honest. This is our third stay at this caravan park and sadly we have always encountered issues mainly with the caravans and technical issues. Be mindful that when you book through booking.com, you are then 'out sourced' to another agent, so getting any technical problems/issues is a nightmare, this seems to be common practice now in the travel industry, We were under a company called 2c2, they were at best useless and mostly unhelpful. It was very hot in the caravan, its like being in a tin can to be honest, as a precaution I took fans with us and thank god I did, as there were NO FANS IN THE CARAVAN, if I hadn't have taken our own, it would have been unbearable, my partner is disabled and us oldies suffer from the heat more. Secondly we had a power cut one morning, we were not informed and I only found out as I noticed an electrician wiring up another caravan next to ours, When the power came back on, we then encountered a faulty bleeping smoke alarm in my bedroom, I tried to report is to the main reception at the caravan site but was greeted with hostility, and threatening behaviour from one of the managers, I was instantly told, that I was being aggressive and I had to contact booking.com and they couldn't help me as the caravan was privately owned and managed by 2c2 and NOT booking.com !!! I found the whole experience stressful, pathetic, bad manners and generally unhelpful, you kind of think, nobody can be bothered anymore, I'm told by others, that this behaviour is quite common now, I guess its how the whole country feels LOL Oh and by the time we departed, the smoke detector still hadn't been fixed, I thought when it came to smoke alarms etc, we all had a DUTY OF CARE !!!
