Sea View Penthouse - Walkable to Beach & Town

The property is in an amazing location, just a stroll down the road to the beach. It's a really quiet, peaceful & well kept road with easy access to all amenities as well as the many coastal walks. Everything you need is on your door step.The train station is a short walk away. Check in was easy & stress free. The communication with the host was great & he was quick to deal with the issues I raised.

The only issue I had was with the cleanliness. Things like very dirty window sills, grubby towels, blinds full of dust, picture frames, artificial plants, head board, & skirting boards all dusty. There was no hot water from the bathroom or kitchen sink taps & the carpets looked like they had not been hoovered. These are not issues that I would expect when staying in a holiday let. However, once these issues were raised with the host, he responded quickly & cleaned the apartment the following day & fixed the hot water issue. With just a bit more tlc & attention to detail, this would be the perfect apartment.

We liked the convenience of the location, as we were only staying for a couple of nights and the price also suited our budget.

Our short break was at a time when the weather was cold and windy. There was no heating in the flat, nor any extra bedding to put on the bed. I told the host and he said he would put the heating on, but he didn't. We had to use a small electric radiator for warmth. More comfort is needed in the flat.
