3 bedroom 1st Floor Flat in Hastings Old Town

The location is excellent for exploring Old Town and the coast.

The location is perfect if you are wanting to stay in the heart of the Old Town of Hastings with lovely café, interesting independent shops and the hustle and bustle of the weekend brings there (we stayed over a weekend in February). For an evening out, can pop down to eat at one of the many lovely restaurants and can enjoy the bars and pubs without having to worry about traveling home because you are already there! If you are wanting to enjoy the night out, I’d start early as many places shut at 11pm for the sake of the residents living there, or you’ll have to head to Hastings/St Leonards for later closing venues. If for some reason you are wanting quiet or to sleep, know the fun dies down and crowds leave around 11:30pm-ish (can’t speak for the summer, but assume the same due to the residents). The place was spotless and kitchen was well stocked with useful items for cooking.

The heating took a bit of time to warm the place up, but I expected this given it is a period property.

The location was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped. Nice touch that there was a bottle of milk in the fridge and tea and coffee bags and hot chocolate. The beds were comfortable. Any questions we had were answered promptly via WhatsApp.

The key to the flat was difficult to fit into the lock. The shower knob was broken: it required a specific set of movements to turn the water on. You couldn't switch the radiator off in the small bedroom; set on 0 and still hot.
