Zu Gast bei Freunden. So fühlt es sich an, in der Shalom Beach Villa zu wohnen. Der Ort ist ein Paradies, ein gemütliches und komfortables Haus direkt an einem menschenleeren, kilometerlangen Sandstrand wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Aber das Beste daran sind die Menschen. Der Ort und seine Gäste werden dermaßen achtsam, liebevoll und sorgfältig versorgt wie man es für die besten Freunde tut. Alles an diesem Ort ist wunderschön. Und als wäre das nicht schon genug, unterstützt man mit der Buchung Projekte, die mehr als 3000 Kindern auf Sri Lanka helfen. Wirklich ein Herzensort, unsere wärmste Empfehlung ❤️

Our time at Shalom Beach Villas was nothing short of unforgettable. The location is picture‑perfect, peaceful and wonderfully private, with a stretch of beach that feels like your own hidden corner of Pasikuda. The villa itself is built to a very high standard – spacious, beautifully maintained and incredibly comfortable. What truly made our stay special were the hosts: Francis, Kobe and the whole team. They are genuinely some of the kindest, warmest and most welcoming people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home, always checking in to ensure everything was perfect and that we were having a magical stay. Their pride in hosting shines through in everything they do. Every morning we enjoyed a wonderful Sri Lankan breakfast, full of fresh flavours and local favourites. In the evenings, they prepared fantastic meals – vibrant, delicious and clearly made with care. One of the highlights of our trip was learning about the community project the owners run. Francis and Kobe were incredibly open, sharing stories about Sri Lanka and the work they do to support local people. They even invited us to visit the community centre, where we met the team, saw their amazing initiatives, and were given the chance to lead a bakery course for the day. It was a truly special experience for our family. Knowing that our stay directly supports the local community centre and its projects made the experience even more meaningful. We left Shalom Beach Villas feeling like we had been welcomed into a family. It’s a beautiful place run by beautiful people, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

A small consideration and not a dislike: while the beach is stunning and serene, the ocean is usually calmest in the early morning. Later in the day it becomes more lively – not ideal for lazy floating
