Oceanfront condo 3-2-01- Nilaveli

We loved our stay in Nilaveli! The condo is the perfect size for a family and has everything you need. The balcony overlooking the ocean is amazing, the pool is great, and the location is ideal – just a short walk to many wonderful places to eat along the beach. The ocean is lovely for swimming, and right next door you’ll find Divinguru if you want to do diving trips or learn to dive. Walk a little further to the street and you’ll find even more restaurants, an ATM, a medical center, and a shop with fruit and essentials. The owner is also very responsive to questions.

A few things to be aware of: when you first enter, the room can sometimes smell a bit like sewage – just run the sink water for a while and it goes away. The WiFi box zaps tiny ants, so you’ll need to sweep them up a few times a day. The couches and some walls could be cleaner, and a washing machine would have been a big plus (though you can hand-wash clothes in the sink if needed and there is a good drying rack).

This complex could be anywhere in the world, you won't get a Sri Lanka experience here. We never ate here, so I can't tell about the food... The room was nice, we had the huge 3-bedroom oceanfront appartment with a stunning view, for 2 nights. Also, we have never been in the pool... there is the ocean with a very clean beach!!! We really liked it here!

The apartment was spacious and clean with a fantastic view of the beach and sea.

This is a serviced apartment rather than a hotel so there isn’t the service and facilities of a hotel. There were not enough sun beds and sometimes towels not available. Avoid the hotel breakfast and go to one of the cafes on the beach.

Locatie aan het strand! Wij boekten een appartement met 3 slaapkamers. Dit was geweldig ruim en comfortabel.

Als we dan toch iets moeten verzinnen: ons appartement zou een opfrisbeurt kunnen gebruiken.
