This 25-square-meter apartment, perfect for a relaxing maritime island getaway, is located on the third floor of Building 52 in Burgtiefe, with a direct view of the inland lake and the marina. Thanks to its location on the second-highest floor of the five-story building (elevator available), you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the harbor entrance leading to the Burgtiefe and Burgstaaken marinas with their fishing boats, as well as the town of Burg. Just a few steps from the front door lies the newly redesigned marina promenade with its observation tower, the new landmark of Burgtiefe. The promenade, with plenty of spots to relax and barbecue, leads to the wide South Beach, which is only about 100 meters away. In the harbor and on the beach, you’ll find dining options ranging from rustic and simple to upscale. Cafés, restaurants, a bakery, two small supermarkets, bike rentals, and a surf school are all within walking distance. After a sunny day at the beach, interesting excursions, bike rides, or relaxing walks, you can often enjoy beautiful sunsets from the benches along the promenade.
The vacation rental is located in a historic, protected complex designed by Arne Jacobsen, one of Denmark’s most internationally renowned architects and designers. The studio consists of a living/sleeping area, a bathroom with a tub, and a kitchenette with a stove and refrigerator. It is furnished in a bright and welcoming Scandinavian style with a double bed, dining table, sofa, armchair, coffee table, wardrobe, dresser, heating, and TV. The bathroom also has a small heater for colder days. The functionally equipped kitchenette features a four-burner electric stove, on which even larger meals can be comfortably prepared. Amenities also include a sink, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. The studio, of course, has its own parking space—included in the rental price.
