    The Highlights True to its description, the hotel offers a functional and welcoming experience. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the communal areas—including an open living room, a unique complimentary craft table, and free tea offerings—create a very pleasant atmosphere for guests. Room & Comfort The room was bright and spacious, which was a plus. While the space is tidy, the interior is showing its age; the walls and carpets look worn and would benefit from a deep clean or a refresh. However, the bedding was clean, and I had no allergic reactions during my stay, which was a relief. Location & Value Located a manageable 7–10 minute walk from Kyoto Station, the location is convenient for transit. While the room quality is "mid-range," it is exactly what you expect for the price point. A great choice if you prioritize service and amenities over a brand-new interior.

    Stayed at OMO3 Kyoto Toji by Hoshino Resorts and had a great experience. This is our 2nd time staying here. The hotel is in a quiet area but still convenient to get around, with shops and convenience stores nearby. Room was clean, comfortable, and slightly more spacious than expected. Loved the cozy lounge area and small touches like free tea and we can enjoy this at the lounge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, very good value for money. Would stay again

    The nearest subway access is Toji Station, located just about 3-minute walk from the hotel. There is also a Lawson convenience store directly opposite the station, which is very convenient. Bus travel is straightforward as well, although it does involve a bit of walking. The hotel beds are spacious and comfortable. One point to note is that we had to book two rooms for two adults and two children, which came as a surprise upon arrival. Overall, the experience was very good.
