    The hotel is closed to Kyoto station, very convenient to travel to the Kyoto international conference center or to other places. I love the cafe where the coffee and snack are served from 10:00 to 24:00. The only thing I do not like is the check in time is 3:00pm and the check out time is 10:00am (too early). Overall, the hotel is deserve to stay in Kyoto

    Reduced rating due to unnecessary early check-out. Hotels usually operate with 11 or 12 am.... Here it's 10am. Also, need to elaborate some more. They're super proud of there new electronival check-in machine. Which works very badly. You have four staff members at counter 4 meters away looking at you check in. In my case, the machine didn't find booking, so they had to do some manual work, and then I needed to complete using machine. They refused to manually check in... They just want to look, all four of them. And then... It asks for breakfast, which is either yes or no. Yes is for all people in the booking for all days... So yeah, you'll say no to that. So then instead you need to jump loops every morning if you're one of the people in the booking that want breakfast. Because going straight to breakfast and place a breakfast on your room would be too easy, right? Yes... You need to visit reception! And even them won't put it on your room. Need to be payed ASAP. Value for money regarding breakfast vs 1800 jpy?? Meh. Not worth it. Selection is small, acoustic in eating area is terrible. And in my case there was many screaming kids on top. You're welcome. Another tiny but annoying detail. No tables have salt and pepper. But there is 1 salt and 1 pepper at the salad for sharing!! So, if you want some salt.... Well, bring your plate to the salad area to salt your food. Also, clean your table when done, like mc Donald's. :-) no staff doing it for you. Tried to submit on their own survey, but it crashes when you press send....

    Rooms are quite small and barely fit two people. Its right next to Toji station so you can hear train going by. Location is terrible as there is nothing good nearby. Overall staff is good and its decently clean rooms
