Cattedrale stay

Mi è piaciuto assolutamente tutto, è il miglior hotel in cui sia mai stata.

Sono molto soddisfatta del mio soggiorno qui. L'host si è mostrato da subito gentile e disponibile; l'appartamento risulta più grande di quello che sembra nelle foto, curato, pulito e fornito di tutte le prime necessità. La posizione è davvero comoda, a un passo dalle zone centrali della città, ma ancora fuori dalla ztl (dettaglio importante per chi arriva in auto). È possibile parcheggiare nella via di casa, ma se si preferisce ci sono anche parcheggi a pagamento disponibili.

Tout était parfait ! Michele est un hôte adorable et il s'est montré disponible, réactif et arrangeant. On sent tout de suite qu'il est réellement soucieux de la satisfaction des personnes qui réservent un séjour dans son logement, tant tout est fait pour qu'on se sente "chez soi", sans manquer de quoi que ce soit. L'endroit est spacieux, décoré avec beaucoup de soin (plus beau en vrai que sur les photos !), et la propreté des lieux est impeccable. Pour la localisation, il suffit de prendre le bus une fois que vous arrivez à la gare ferroviaire/routière, et de marcher pendant environ 5mn, ou bien de tout faire à pied pendant environ 30mn. L'arrêt de bus pour Monreale est également à moins de 10mn à pied (ne passez pas à côté, la ville m'avait été conseillée alors que je ne prévoyais pas de m'y rendre initialement, mais elle en vaut vraiment le détour !). Enfin, mon chien a été accepté sans supplément tarifaire, ce qui est un point extrêmement positif pour moi. Je n'hésiterai pas à revenir à l'avenir, ce fut un plaisir de séjourner ici.

My stay was perfect from start to finish. Michele met me upon arrival and was consistently kind, welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. The accommodation was clean, tidy and impressively spacious for a solo traveller and the thoughtful touches, like small snacks and water, made me feel right at home. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the main centre, with plenty of supermarkets nearby that are easy to reach on foot, which I found especially convenient while travelling alone. Michele and his nonna were incredibly warm and generous, kindly allowing me to leave my bags at her apartment due to my late return flight. To top it off, Michele even drove me to the airport, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his place to anyone staying in Palermo.

As a solo female traveller, I did find the area a little intimidating at night, as the streets can be quite dark on the walk back. That said, I didn’t experience any issues during my stay.
