About this vacation rental

Maiensäss 5.5 Zi. freistehend und romantisch

Mountain house at 1,500 metres above sea level, 20 minutes from the Upper Engadine (St. Moritz-Pontresina), 20 minutes from Valtellina (wine production) and 20 minutes from Livigno (duty-free zone), at the entrance to the nature reserve. Ski slopes (Diavolezza/Lagalb) and snowskiting are 15 min. away by car. Bernina railway Unesco world heritage is reachable in 15 min. Three bedrooms each with a double bed, one bedroom with a bunk bed, a living room with a sunny balcony, a bathroom (with WC, washbasin and shower), a toilet (with WC and washbasin), a large eat-in kitchen with wood-burning fireplace, gas cooker, electricity, heat pump boiler. With central heating (wood) and small supplementary heating (electric). Bedroom furnishings (bedroom): Mattresses (2x) 90 cm x 200 cm, duvet 160 cm x 210 cm, pillows 65 cm x 100 cm. Kitchen equipment (kitchen): Beautiful built-in water-bearing fireplace wood-burning stove, kitchenette with dishwasher. Coffee machine is available:- Bialetti coffee maker, requires instant coffee- Delizio coffee machines, requires Delizio coffee capsules (Migros, Fust, LeShop, Denner) Coffee capsules and coffee powder are not provided Oil, vinegar and salt are available. If there is a lot of snow, the car must be parked on the main road (parking facilities are available) and approx. 300 metres on foot to get to the house. This means no traffic and a lot of peace and quiet. Without snow it is possible to drive up to the house (parking is available). The house is not completely fenced and the outside area is partly video-monitored. The house is an ideal starting point for hikes or snowshoe hikes, e.g. into the Val di Campo, a protected region with very romantic lakes. The nature around the house and the hiking possibilities combined with a beautiful view are unique. The Swiss quality and the Italian style make this region unique. Good food at reasonable prices. Sports activities in the area: fishing, mountaineering, ice skating, climbing, mountain biking, cycling, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, surfing, tennis.
