The Little Thatch Cottage

The property exceeded our expectations with all the little extra care package and treats upon arrival. We had a comfortable stay and the fire place was a bonus on the cold and rainy day we had. The kitchen is well equipped and the one bedroom was rather spacious, the second bedroom is of a good size, however, there was no where to put your bag. They were kind enough to make the two single beds into a king for us, which did make the room a bit tighter, but that was okay for us. Anita was amazing and very helpful during our stay and she did go the extra mile with things that you would not think of to expect like a first aid kit. The town is not far away and we enjoyed to walk the streets and shops.

This is beyond the property's control, but a side note that the road was rather busy and the bedrooms are facing the road. The washing machine is on the side of the house, not very user friendly as it is more of a storage than laundry, so if you do stay for a long period of time, this might be a bit inconvenient. The kitchen was well equipped, but the dishes were not very clean and we washed everything before we could use it. The board games was a plus for the kids, but there is no tv which made the rainy afternoon inside a bit more challenging with smaller children.

Outdoor hot tub, special welcoming touch with chocolates, Easter decorations etc., good wifi, warm homely atmosphere, quick responding and friendly hosts, clean & well-looked-after

Spacious and cozy all in one. Lovely feel, with lots of little highlights - like the tub, gifts, little extras to make your stay pleasant. We had a great two day stay. Thanks!!
