Location was sooo splendid, we could walk everywhere the entire weekend , even late at night after a concert as it was so close to all the event venues. There was ample outside lighting at both entrances to our unit to make unlocking/ entry easy. Loooved the beautiful clothes hangers & bean to cup coffee machine, filled with beans. Welcome hamper with the most yummy florentines & home baked bread was real treat! We'll gladly revisit & recommend Ruskamer to ALL our friends, it was a real treat staying here.
Frosting ( a frosted vinyl sticker maybe?) on the main bathroom window, would give the necessary privacy needed from passers by in the drive way without blocking all natural light out of the bedroom when pulling the curtain every time. The second bathroom is more shielded by the unit's bbq area shield, so not so much need for privacy in that bathroom.

The cottage is very beautiful to look at, but not as comfortable to use. It is beautifully done up. But the bathrooms are in the rooms with zero privacy.
Bathrooms are in the open rooms. We needed to leave the room for person 2 to use the toilet. And then the lounge was not comfortable to sit in while you wait for the loo to be used.
