It is absolutely fantastic luxurious house with everything one could need. The big windows viewing the ocean, very nice owner who awaited us and passed the keys to us, spacous garage connected by stairs with the interior of the house, many sleeping rooms with complete privacy, wonderfull large living room with big tables to sit together, the bar with wines, grill, equipped kitchen, ...
The ocean in front of the house is beautifull to watch but the coast is rocky and not good for swimming.

Rots 'n See was a comfortable, warm, well-appointed accommodation with spectacular views from which to explore the southern coast of South Africa. We toured the Cape Agulhus lighthouse, marveled at the Iconic Map of Africa Monument, discovered hidden beaches, spotted many beautiful Protea flowers, sunbathed on Pearly Beach, went to the fish market in the harbor at Gansbaai, lunched on butter chicken and fish and chips at the Blue Goose, restaurant on Hoop St, hiked Klipgat Caves at the Walker Bay Nature Reserve, glimpsed a pod of orcas, and a mother Southern Right whale and her calf, spotted three of the Marine Big 5, dined at the White House, saw Danger Point lighthouse along a four wheel drive track along the beach, found crazy amounts of beautiful shells on the beach, explored Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens, and hiked the Leopard's Kloof trail in the fynbos to the waterfall, and tasted wine at Jordan vineyards in Stellenbosch. It was an epic adventure.
There was not one thing that we thought could have been better. Every night we stayed, the next morning we found it so hard to leave such a beautiful place. Each morning we elected to stay one more night, until before we knew it we had stayed three nights in a row!

Best view ever! It felt so much like home. We kept adding extra nights. So many fun things to do in the area. We saw a mama Southern Right Whale and her calf. Lots of beach combing, spelunking at Klipgat caves. Propane heater and electric blankets were heavenly. Drive from Dangerpoint lighthouse along the water was intrepid. Thank you, Rots n See!!
Loved it all.

The view
The house is old and needs work, no where to sit facing the sea.
