Lovely farm and setting. Beautiful part of the Cape. Good coffee. Friendly host. Great WiFi.
Delux Double Room w Private Bathroom: Water … we were provided with ample drinking water … although it seemed that “PnP Sparkling Water” bottles had been repurposed to provide decanted water … I do respect the repurposing of single use plastic but I value hygiene more … when it comes to drinking water in such a public environment it’s best provided in an original sealed, tamperproof container … in fact that goes for all provided consumables. This is an easy fix.
Self catering … although we only stayed one night we noted no facility to wash dishes … had to rinse cups and coffee grinds in the bathroom basin. Cooking facilities included a microwave oven … situated outside. Interestingly the fridge was also outside of our apartment … one has to go outside each time accessing refrigerated items … not a problem for a one nighter but I guess will become more of a challenge during multi-day stays in the winter months.

Stunning views and rustic vibes
There was nothing that we didn’t like. However having said that, the gate wouldn’t open when we arrived with the code we had been given on receipt of booking. So maybe a wee message to visitors about how to get onto the farm may be helpful in future.

The Area and fireplace
Shower spray all over ceiling, no lights in bathroom, bedding old and torn in places and the Apartment was not very clean
