STOP!!!!! Don’t book anywhere in Imabari this is an absolute must stay! Shun made us feel so at home in his beautiful home. He collected us from the local train station (just a few stops from Imabari) on the coast. We collected provisions enroute and settled in for a shower, hot bath and loved the comfortable western style beds (nice treat after a week on futons). We booked in for a sunrise kayak which was an absolute highlight. We needed the rest after completing the Shimanami Kaido. He even guided us to an incredible restaurant in Imabari before dropping us at Imabari station. Shun we can’t recommend you highly enough.
