Santiago Guesthouse Hiroshima

I had a very pleasant stay all around, but there were two things that were especially good: the showers and restrooms were super clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient, within walking distance of many locations of interest. I also found that the staff were very helpful when I needed directions or advice for a variety of different matters (where to buy a prepaid phone card, where to catch the tram to Miyajima...).

I have no complaints. Very comfortable and satisfactory experience all around.

Welcoming and laid back hostel well located in Hiroshima

Easy to find and close to sights and good restaurants

This is a real hostel! Nice dorm. 10 showers. WOW. We had 4 toilets on our floor alone. Nice big common room with sofas, chairs, books, board games, 2 TV's... Kitchen with everything you need. Dining area. I could stay one more week just to hang out. You can wash your cloths in the machines here. They sell coffee in reception.. I could write much more but I will enjoy my holiday for now :-) But the best: The staff. They are super helpful and welcoming. They speak English, Spanish, Japanese and probably more. I can't find out how to add photos, but the photos on booking.com looks real.

Hm. .. You can smoke out on the balcony, but sometimes the smoke stings in. I'm not a fan. Could we please have a free towel? This is small things and over all this is a really nice place.

The location was great for exploring Hiroshima. The bed was comfortable.

The window was really small in the room, therefore not enough daylight and also getting fresh air with the type of window was a little bit tricky. The room also looks a little bit worn down for the price. Additionally, the staff only wanted to give us towels against additional fee, even though they should have been included. After showing that it is included in the booking app, they gave us the towels in the end without fees.
