The house is beautiful, located away in a quiet area (up a steep hill), very picturesque and decorated in beautiful traditional Japanese style. The volunteers were very welcoming and the facilities were great. In the end my friends couldn't stay and the owner offered to give them a refund, which I thought was very generous.

Owner Dayana was lovely to speak with. Was fun chatting with those volunteering at the house. Beds were comfortable. Loved the hospitality and great to be in a traditional house.
Clearer advertising of the property type and location online. It was not clearly mentioned that this would be a hostel/sharehouse.
