The view of the sea and of the town . The cozy vibe. The lovely woman at the reception.
My body just has a hard time with being so close to the floor.

Perhaps my favourite place I’ve ever stayed. The guesthouse is in a historic inn half way up the hill overlooking Onomichi. It was a privilege to stay in such a historic property and the sunrise views from the room were spectacular.
The walls are thin, so be mindful that this is a historic building.

Amazing view of onomichi from our room, traditional japanese vibes and a nice coffee shop. Right beside the temple.
Long stairs to reach the property so you need to be fit. The bar was empty both night we stayed and bar staff were not conversational.

Amazing location up on the hill overlooking the harbour. You hear your neighbours through the walls but thats all part of the charm. Old world Japan. Loved it.
