Im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften bisher in Sri Lanka, war diese hier wirklich außergewöhnlich modern und luxuriös.

The owner and his family were super nice and welcoming. They helped with everything we needed even uncooked eggs. All the facilities were great and made us a comfortable rest. Breakfast was also perfect. I’d say it’s the best accommodation in our 10 day trip:)

Maybe parking is a bit tricky…

Auf unserer langen Reise haben wir viele Unterkünfte ausprobiert – aber diese hier hat uns wirklich begeistert und sticht klar als Highlight heraus. Das Zimmer ist absolut nagelneu und wunderschön modern eingerichtet – alles makellos, stylisch und durchdacht. Man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Liebe ins Detail geflossen ist. Eine echte Wohlfühloase! Das Frühstück war hervorragend – lecker, frisch und reichhaltig. Der perfekte Start in den Tag. Was die Unterkunft aber wirklich besonders macht, ist der Host. Unglaublich herzlich, immer gut erreichbar und bei jeder Frage sofort zur Stelle. Man fühlt sich rundum gut aufgehoben und willkommen – das ist heutzutage leider keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Diese Unterkunft ist ein echter Geheimtipp – modern, persönlich und mit einer Gastfreundschaft, die man so selten findet. Wir können sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen definitiv wieder!

Nichts

The host family was exceptionally kind and welcoming. Three generations live at the property and everyone was consistently friendly and very attentive, which made the stay feel very personal. The room is nicely designed and has a great balcony. The bathroom is large and modern, the Wi-Fi worked well, and there is also a smart TV.

The furniture is not brand new anymore, although everything is still in good and well-maintained condition. There were also some loud dogs in the neighborhood at times. The lodge is located a bit outside the center of Ella, so you usually need a tuk-tuk to get to town (around 15 minutes and about 1,500 LKR per ride).
