Apartment Time Old Town

What we liked most about this apartment was its excellent location. It is situated in a quiet part of Dubrovnik Old Town, yet central to everything and only a short distance from all the attractions. It was also very easy to access from the taxi drop-off point, which made arriving somewhat hassle-free. The apartment was modern in style, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It provided a relaxing base for exploring Dubrovnik, and, being in an old building, it is understandable that not everything is perfect.

There were only a few minor things that could be improved. The pillows were too soft and uncomfortable, and the air conditioner in the main bedroom didn't cool the room as effectively as we would have liked. Access to the apartment may be challenging for some guests, as there are around 30 steps to reach the top floor, including a narrow spiral staircase. One section of the handrail had come away from the wall, which should be repaired for safety. These issues didn't affect us, but they may be worth considering for guests with mobility concerns, as there are no lifts in most accommodation in the Old Town. The apartment was advertised as having a washing machine, but it wasn't there when we arrived, and we hadn't been advised beforehand. As we had specifically booked the apartment because it included laundry facilities, this was disappointing. However, once we contacted the host, they arranged to have the washing machine delivered, explaining that it had been away for repairs, which we appreciated. It would also have been a nice touch if laundry detergent had been provided, as every other accommodation we stayed in throughout our holiday supplied it.

Great location just 5min walk from Pile Gate. Close to everything. Despite being just above a restaurant, the soundproof windows shut all the noise out and the place was very silent. Well equipped kitchen (but…see below).

No microwave. Door handles to the bathroom were dodgy. The second bathroom did not have a handle for the hand shower and the overhead shower head did not work.

Very nice and spacious apartment in the heart of the old city. Couldn't ask for a better location. Much roomier than a hotel and the price was just right.

Some of the amenities such as extra toilet paper and bathroom products were missing (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel).

The entrance stairs were a little daunting for elderly guests.
