Honestly, the sign-up process was a NIGHTMARE. The process is unnecessarily complicated and comes with additional costs that aren’t clearly reflected in the advertised pricing. On top of the advertised fee, there is an additional R200 “damage waiver” fee, which is non-refundable. The refundable amount is R1,500, which is another cost you need to be aware of when signing up. Then comes the process of actually getting your access code — and this is where things become incredibly frustrating. You are required to complete a whole list of information and documentation, only to then be told that you need to physically go to their main office to collect the access code. The location provided initially directs you to a security point, where you are then redirected to the actual office. Once you finally get there, you STILL have to provide your ID and go through another verification process. There are simply too many unnecessary steps, and the process feels incredibly disorganised and inconvenient. For something that should be a straightforward sign-up and access process, it becomes a long, confusing and frustrating experience. The additional fees should also be made much clearer upfront so customers know exactly what they are paying for before signing up. Please simplify the process and communicate the full costs and steps upfront.
