A lovely, proper log cabin in a beautiful, quiet location with the rooms and a large deck area overlooking a small lake. Kitchen, living area and bedroooms were all well equipped. Tea, coffee and sugar was provided and a nice touch was the pint of milk in the fridge and a welcome hamper with biscuits, cake and a bottle of prosecco. Quality hand soap is provided but you will need to bring shampoo etc. The hosts were very helpful and replied very quickly to any queries. Plenty to do only a short drive away, from sandy beaches to lakes and mountains, and lots of footpaths if you just want to go for a wander from the lodge.
Hard to fault anything. The swallows nesting in the eves were a lovely touch for us but they do make a bit of a mess. A bit more crockery and small glasses would have been useful, but there are at least 4 of everything so not a real criticism.

The location was amazing. It was quiet and peaceful. Inside was immaculate! Everything we needed was there.
Outside was stunning. It maybe could do with a clean and a paint on the decking. But winter has just finished so we appreciate that. It was so peaceful.
