Grizebeck is an ideal base for a peaceful getaway, with easy access to a variety of attractions. Explore the tranquil countryside on lesser-known walking trails and rolling hills, then enjoy a meal at the village’s historic coaching inn, dating back more than 300 years. History enthusiasts can visit Dalton Castle and the ruins of Furness Abbey, both within 10 miles. Nearby Walney Island (13.5 miles) is home to nature reserves where you may spot birdlife and, seasonally, grey seals along the coast. Ulverston, 6 miles away, offers independent shops, cafés and local businesses, while Broughton-in-Furness, just 3 miles from the property, has welcoming pubs, charming cafés and village stores. For outdoor adventures, the valleys of Eskdale and Wasdale are around 18 miles away, providing excellent fell walking. Coniston Water and Lake Windermere are also within easy reach for lakeside walks, boating and waterside activities.

With a stunning kitchen island, the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is perfect for socialising whilst the chef of the group makes the most of the well-equipped kitchen. The dining table, perfect for six people, overlooks the well-maintained garden, whilst the lounge creates a cosy space to play a game or two in front of the wood burner. Upstairs, each of the three king-sized bedrooms benefits from its own en-suite. The master bedroom offers the bathroom with a corner bath and walk-in shower, and also boasts a dressing room area. The other two bedrooms have charming en-suite shower rooms. The balcony is a perfect spot for sipping your morning brew whilst overlooking the garden.
Outside, there is ample space for four-pawed pets to run around. Sit back on the patio and enjoy the well-landscaped garden with a pond and various areas to relax. Parking can be found at the front of the house with up to three cars.
