Luxury Lechlade cottage - Character and charm

The property is stunning - beautifully decorated with fantastic quality fixtures and fittings. Incredibly comfortable stay. Great location - easy to walk to shops, restaurants and the river. Easy to park on the road. Will definitely come again.

The cottage was amazing, it’s been beautifully renovated and furnished. It has a lovely large garden with bi-fold doors which were great with the weather being so good. We were left a welcome hamper which was very much appreciated especially the sourdough and wine. Also we were provided with fans for all the bedrooms and one downstairs, these were very much needed due to the very hot weather. This is definitely a cottage we would return too.

There really isn’t anything to dislike.

Super clean and newly renovated with modern conveniences and lovely historical bones. Beautiful and spacious rear garden. A perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds with easy roadside parking, local supermarket and very prompt contact with the owners. Great to have a guide book for local services, walks, info about site seeing, along with before and after photos of the renovation

House was clean and spacious

Linen and rooms had overpowering chemical scent unable to sleep as it aggravated asthma . Top bathroom sink inaccessible due to beam and sloping roof. Would have liked to relax in sunny kitchen - but the only easy chairs were in the living room at front. We were surprised at the property being marketed as luxury when it didn’t have a downstairs WC.
