Luxury Lechlade cottage - Character and charm

Beautifully presented with lots of little touches to make us feel at home. Feels even better than the photos. Lots of space for us all including lovely outdoor space while keeping it feeling cosy and an ideal position to explore the Cotswolds from. All recently renovated and very modern facilities while keeping the character of the original features - they tell all about it in their information book! Lots of thorough information from the hosts about the area and things to do. The village itself has plenty of pubs and cafes/restaurants if you aren’t out and about for eating. We travelled with our toddler and parents and it was a perfect stay.

The only downside for us was the lack of a downstairs loo but not really too much of a hassle.

The house was amazing, so beautifully renovated and perfect for our family stay in the Cotswolds. There was so much space in the house, great kitchen facilities etc. and perfectly located to allow us to explore the broader area but also easily stroll into Lechlade to enjoy the shops, pubs and the Thames Path walk.

Nothing at all - the perfect choice for us and a great Cotswolds experience to share with our teenage boys.

Cleanliness and beautiful kitchen / diner space for eating

House was clean and spacious

Linen and rooms had overpowering chemical scent unable to sleep as it aggravated asthma . Top bathroom sink inaccessible due to beam and sloping roof. Would have liked to relax in sunny kitchen - but the only easy chairs were in the living room at front. We were surprised at the property being marketed as luxury when it didn’t have a downstairs WC.
