We love the Cotswolds, loved this property and will be back.

The cottages are in a great location with supermarkets, restaurants and takeaways 5 minutes away but you could not see the town as they down a long driveway surrounded by fields. The kitchen had everything that you needed for a short or long stay. The garden was enclosed great if you are bringing a dog and there is a public footpath at the back of the cottages that takes you across fields and farm land for miles. Hosts were great and checked in on us during our stay. We will be back :-)

Excellent location nice views great walk for the dog. The apartment is well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The games room is great fun plenty to do on a rainy day. In all the whole place is clean and tidy inside and out and well maintained, The staff are very helpful and are always willing to help. Dog friendly with friendly horses in a beautiful location.

The place was warm and cosy and in pretty good working order.

The lounge was cramped for 6. The TV was high up on the wall, so hard to watch comfortably. The dishwasher salt hadn't been checked properly before we arrived because it ran out after 2 washes.

A fantastic location

A wonderful stay! We had two of the cottages - which worked perfectly. Both cottages were incredibly well equipped with plenty of kitchen equipment. Great information in advance from the hosts, fab games room and good location for local walks and pub trips - we went to the Plough! Aldi and other shops very close by.

Some more seating space in the games room might be nice but we had a fab time in there!

Highly recommend property as a base for exploring a lovely area of Oxfordshire

Very well appointed accommodation - we stayed in 2 bedroom ground floor apartment. Absolutely spotless. Everything we needed for our stay, with an unusually well furnished kitchen ( washing machine, oven and hob, dishwasher, ) Warm and comfortable. We very appreciated the little extras like soft bathroom and hand towels, wooden lanterns and ample kitchenware. Owners are very accommodating and great at communications beforehand regarding questions and requests. Thank you. Seeing the horses outside our window was a real bonus. Shame we couldn’t enjoy the enclosed outdoor garden and bbq - it was late October …

Immaculate property on amazing grounds - can’t wait to go back.

This property was ideal for the amount of people on my booking and was set in the most gorgeous setting. The property was immaculate and had everything you could need for a long weekend away and the rooms were spacious with plenty of storage. The games room was a real hit with us all and very well looked after.

The only very very small downside was one of the mattresses was very hard (but this could be down to personal taste)

Excellent weekend away in a beautiful cottage, would definitely recommend.

The 3bedroom cottage was lovely, really good sized bedrooms, there were five adults. We found the standard or the property high and well equipped. With easy access to the beautiful countryside and Carterton near by for shops if needed. Hosts were available if needed and checked we were all in one our first day.

Ideal location travelling north and this was one of the stops we made. Whilst we didn’t use the cooking facilities as we were eating out we were really impressed with how well stocked everything was so next time we would cook

Overall it was a lovely place .

Such a beautiful location. The traditional Cotswold stone buildings and walls.

The group staying in the stables to which they sat out late spitting in the garden , swearing , having loud speaker telephone conversations till 12:40am,were very loud ( kept us awake), disposing of cigarettes butts over the garden, in the bbq and where the car was parked. Even woke us at 6am the following morning being loud and leaving the property gate open to which the wind kept swinging the gate back and forth. Unfortunately this ruined our stay for us , they had no respect to the hoists property or other guests.

Should we need to gather the family again in the Cotswolds we will definitely be returning

The cottages had the best equipped kitchen that I’ve ever had while renting a property no shortage of plates, glasses cups. Property allowed us to gather our grown children and be together as a family unit and still remain a little bit of the space. The game room was a good hit with our are grown children as they spend time together.

A much needed respite whilst moving abroad

The property was lovely and well stocked. The games room/gym/laundry room was really useful too. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The countryside around the property was also really enjoyable! The fact that they allowed our two cats to stay was brilliant as, usually, pet friendly really means dog friendly!

Lovely cosey property for a short duration.

The property had a nice homely feel with what looked like nice Ikea sets of drawers under the sloping part of the ceiling, and nice decor. Small well equipped kitchen with a small table and 2 folding chairs, with a door separating the bedroom. Plenty of parking and could arrive anytime due to the key lock safe. We only stayed for one night but enjoyed our brief stay. Would not have wanted to stay for a week but would definitely go back for a short duration.

The shower desperately needs a thermostatic valve as it alternated between too hot and cold with the tiniest adjustment. The wash basin is small and could have been bigger as there was enough room. The TV was small and positioned so it would be difficult to watch from any of the seating positions, probably due to the lack of wall space caused by the sloping ceiling.

Lovely holiday accommodation for families and pet-friendly too

Very well furnished, lots of space for a family, especially with 2 bathrooms which is a bonus, easy access from the car and to the garden and footpath for dog walks, lots of instructions and good and speedy communication from owner. We all enjoyed the underfloor heating in the main living space. The games room is also a big bonus.

We have already mentioned both the following comments to the owner and maintenance staff: the only information missing was about using the oven. The temperatures and modes have rubbed off by the dials and so we had to look online for a manual. Also the main bedroom upstairs was quite chilly at times probably as it has such high ceilings. But the maintenance staff did adjust the thermostat and there were extra blankets and heaters available.
