Great family getaway in the cotswolds to visit moreton, stow and bourton.

A calm location away from the busyness of the two towns but close enough to be there in under 10mins. The layout and furnishings were wonderful with very comfy beds.

Useful mirror in main bathroom missing. No bathmat for getting out the shower. Shower glass is the best possible for bathroom layout but does let a lot of water out which is worse when no bathmat available. Secure gate keyfob didnt work. Staircase very creaky especially with a newborn sleeping. No washing up bowl

Open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room. Lots of easy parking. Good dog walking field. Coffee machine. Very close to Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water. Didn’t charge extra for our 2 dogs to stay.

Very cute flat but should be cleaner for guests.

The property was peaceful, secluded, spacious, and lovely decor. Washer and separate dryer were a huge bonus. Beds were comfortable and rooms spacious.

The first thing we noticed was there is no walking path outside of the gated area which is right on a busy road. It was not possible to walk to Stow which was disappointing. The flat itself was not clean. The floors were not vacuumed nor washed. I tried to use the vacuum but it did not work. I had to use a large push broom just to get the hair food and dirt into a corner. That was frustrating. They only left out 4 towels for our family of 5 and when we located more in a cupboard they were all damp and smelly. I had to wash one before we could use it the next day. The gate to get out requires a door opener…. But you need to leave the door opener at the flat before you check out. One person needs to run out of the gate, while the other returns the opener then drive up again to the auto locked gate while the person outside opens the gate with the passcode. This is not doable if you are a single person or single parent as the road is extremely busy and high speed and I wouldn’t trust my child outside of the gate. They need to get rid of the openers and just use a passcode box on the inside.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. Really modern, lovely and clean, beds were comfortable and the facilities were amazing.

There was nothing that we didn’t like but a few things to improve any guests enjoyment would be a more cosy sofa to snuggle into. It was quite upright and you couldn’t relax completely but it is a sofa bed and find they are never quite as comfy as a sofa alone. The only other very minor thing was the mirror in the guest bedroom wasn’t near a plug. We bought a hairdryer which had a long lead so no issue for us.
