Lovely village location and the enclosed garden was perfect for children. Beautifully decorated, I don’t think the photos do it justice.
The shower wasn’t working which was a shame as there was no other stand up shower - but this couldn’t be helped.

Lovely old house in picturesque village. Plenty to do in the area.
It wasn't as clean as it could have been, with dirt inside the fridge and a fairly thick layer of dust and more under the sitting room furniture.
When we arrived the house the cleaners had evidently not long left because the tile floors were still wet (and slippery!) and the stench of bleach was overwhelming, which remained until well into the following day.
Unbelievably, considering the cost we paid for the week, none of the toilets had toilet roll when we arrived, except for one that had a few sheets left.
The bed in the master bedroom is rock hard, so we used the 2nd bedroom instead, which was a shame because the master is lovely.
The 6pm check-in and 10am checkout times are also unnecessarily mean and effectively reduce the stay to 6 days.
