Hillside Cottage

Alojamiento perfecto, una suerte poder disfrutar de una casa así en un entorno tan precioso. Perfecta la localización, tanto el pueblo acogedor, que es justo como te imaginas que va a ser, como la distancia a los puntos estratégicos de la visita. La casa es espectacular, moderna conservando el estilo original, con un jardín precioso donde los niños pueden jugar. Hay muchos juegos para los niños, y ellos estaban deseando volver cada día. Habitaciones preciosas, camas muy cómodas y todo funcionaba perfectamente. Recomiendo esta estancia y espero poder volver algún día.

Solo eché de menos que hubiera jabón para la ropa (quedaba muy poco), más papel de cocina y algún producto para limpiar las superficies de la cocina y productos de baño (gel y champú), ya que al ir en avión sin maleta facturada no llevábamos.

Just one walk in shower

Lovely village location and the enclosed garden was perfect for children. Beautifully decorated, I don’t think the photos do it justice.

The shower wasn’t working which was a shame as there was no other stand up shower - but this couldn’t be helped.

It wasn't as clean as it could have been, with dirt inside the fridge and a fairly thick layer of dust and more under the sitting room furniture. When we arrived the house the cleaners had evidently not long left because the tile floors were still wet (and slippery!) and the stench of bleach was overwhelming, which remained until well into the following day. Unbelievably, considering the cost we paid for the week, none of the toilets had toilet roll when we arrived, except for one that had a few sheets left. The bed in the master bedroom is rock hard, so we used the 2nd bedroom instead, which was a shame because the master is lovely. The 6pm check-in and 10am checkout times are also unnecessarily mean and effectively reduce the stay to 6 days.
