The street is quite busy . Luckily inside the house it’s not so noticeable

The house is well-located about a ten minute walk from the station, and fifteen minutes from town, and has a parking space off a private drive, which meant that all travel options were on the table at any given time. If you were to travel with a group it would also be a good choice as there are multiple rooms and bathrooms, with two social areas of the living room and an enclosed back garden both providing excellent spaces to stay in.
The house was spotless and there was a kitchen with a dishwasher that made staying there as much a prospect as going out, which was welcome. The parking space at the back of the property was spacious, safe and well-situated. The instructions for reaching the property and how to acquire the keys and use the facilities were extensive and answered all my questions.
Booking this property was an absolute headache. In the three days before I was due to check in I received no less than 10 emails from the property regarding "security checks" I had to complete. I had to use three external websites to verify my ID, sign an agreement about staying, and to provide a deposit for the property - the deposit of course not being included in the description or price of the booking. It felt like constant e-harassment for details which did not put me in the best mood for eventually travelling to the property, and instead added uncertainity that I would actually get the property I booked and paid for.
This timely provision of details was not reciprocated by the property owners. Half an hour *after* I had arrived at the property, I was called by an agent on behalf of the property owners instructing me that the downstairs toilet was out of commission and that I should not use it. On the second day of my stay I was also told without request that the owners were sending a handyman to look at the roof which interfered with my quiet enjoyment of the property. Both of these should have been clearly signposted and negotiated with me and not dictated, and continued to hamper my enjoyment of the property.
There were other minor annoyances - but only minor. The property is directly on a main road and the front-facing rooms can hear every car go past. If you have young children (or if you're early-to-bed/late-to-rise) this may prevent you from falling asleep or getting up late, but past 11pm it's a nonissue. The property becomes swelteringly hot in the summer (as per most UK houses) but no fans or air conditioning were provided to mitigate the heat, and opening the windows was insufficient.

Nice comfy house for a large group to stay.
We were 4 adults and 4 kids. Rooms were on 1st and second floor.
Location was around 10min walk from market and the area is quite
We were told that a router cable was missing after we checked out and a towel had stain. So our deposit was hold. After few email to managing company they agreed to release the gbp300 however due to bank exchange rate I had to pay around 20gbp.
We had never used the cable as we didn’t had any device that required a network cable.
I would recommend to take a video of the property when checkin to avoid any claims of missing items.

The rooms were perfect, clean and well presented. Towels for guests and heating was great.
The living room felt smaller than the pictures and cramped for the 8 of us staying. The parking was very limited, only one space which is not ideal given we had 3 cars.
