Loft Palazzo D'Amelj nel centro storico di Bari

Alloggio ristrutturato di recente e con un particolare ed interessante stile industriale.

Peccato solo per la gestione remota del riscaldamento. Non abbiamo potuto governarlo da soli ed abbiamo patito un po' il freddo essendo gennaio.

Me gustó todo, para amantes de lo ecléctico, ya que el loft es super moderno (estilo industrial) que está dentro de lo que fué un antiguo convento (que deja ver el paso del tiempo en sus espacios). Se encuentra en pleno casco antiguo, la zona es un corredor gastronómico con varios locales para comer y también está a muy pocos metros del mar. El loft está muy bien equipado con todo lo necesario en cuanto a artefactos electrodomésticos, vajilla y utensillos de cocina. Si bien no incluye el desayuno, tiene sin embargo una pava eléctrica y cafetera junto a café molido y saquitos de té para preparte la infusión que desees. Antonio y su padre estuvieron pendientes de todo lo que pudiese necesitar, contestando mis consultas sin demoras.

Nada me disgustó.

Communication about passport requirements were the day we arrived in Bari which happened to be when we were traveling from the USA to Rome to Bari. No signal on planes to communicate with owner. We were not educated about this beforehand and apartment owner threatened to cancel our reservation while yelling at me on the phone and wouldn’t let me explain. Language barrier. I was getting on a bus at airport and he wouldn’t listen to me. No written instructions about using the air conditioner so we were very hot the first 24 hours. No place to hang wet towels. Had to ask for more toilet paper and how to use AC. I made an error and booked for 3 people instead of 4 so owner asked for more euros before we checked in. Had to find an ATM while we dragged around our suitcases. It just wasn’t a great experience for our first two nights of vacation. Would not recommend, would not return to property. Owner needs to please provide more information and communication (in clear English or other languages) prior to stay. Also, just because he mostly communicates with people thru WhatsApp, some people do not. And, asking renters to send private documents like passports through WhatsApp when Booking.com advises against that, is concerning.
