If I could give a higher score I would. Firstly the apartment. It was beautiful, clean, well appointed & had everything possible you would need in terms of comfort & kitchen facilities. There was even a selection of beers & wine & also bottles of water that you could pay for, very reasonably priced. A real find. The location was perfect; so near to everything. The neighbourhood was fantastic, clean, quiet & a pretty street. There was also a bakery very close so you could experience the chatter of local life. Next, the host; Damiano. A pure gentleman & sincere, genuine man. He picked me up from the airport & we had fun with Google translate. He showed me pictures of his beautiful family & we created a bond with our life stories. Damiano was not just a host he was my guardian angel on this, my first solo trip. Every morning he would sent me a "Have a nice day " text & every evening again a text asking if I was ok. He said if I needed anything on my trip (I travelled through Puglia for a week)to call him. He touched my heart & made me feel safe. I cannot thank him enough & had the pleasure of experiencing his beautiful apartment on the first stop on my journey through this stunning region. Thank you. I sincerely hope to return 💞

Ideally located to experience Bari Vecchia life. The property is all on ground level.
