This unusual and fascinating apartment was in the heart of the old town . It was only a few minutes to the fabulous Basilica of St Nicholas and the many bars and cafes in the narrow lanes .
It could be a little dark and the light all came from the street door but this meant it was also very cool .

Everything! This is a fantastic place to stay, and an incredible host. We arrived late and he called a restaurant to ensure we would have a table. The place is a gem.

The owner Damiano met us at the railway station for a small fee. He escorted us to the property and showed us inside this beautiful property. When it came time to leave, Damiano tok us the tre bus terminal, again for a fee, for our trip to Alberobello.
That we had to leave.
