Auray is ideally located in Southern Brittany, between Vannes and Lorient. It is at the crossroads of access routes to the Quiberon peninsula, the beaches of Carnac and the famous Gulf of Morbihan, classified in the very exclusive club of the most beautiful bays in the world.

Auray is very close to Sainte-Anne-d'Auray, a Breton holy place, the third pilgrimage site in France.

The city centre can be visited on foot. The car is necessary to visit the region.

2 bus lines operate in the city and several coach lines allow you to reach surrounding towns (Carnac, Quiberon, Vannes, Baden,...).

A Flixbus departure point is located at the exit of the city.

From Auray station, during the summer season, a train takes you directly to Quiberon, and to its pier for Belle-Île-en-Mer. Ideal for avoiding traffic jams.

Activities nearby: beaches 15 minutes by car, sailing school, water sports, mini-golf, tennis court, cruises on the Gulf of Morbihan. Possibility of hiking or cycling (marked trails).
