Jannick the host is a really, lovely person. He made us feel most welcome and despite the slight language barrier, made himself fully understood. Communication with him sometimes took a little longer, but nonetheless, always satisfactorily replied. The gite is well positioned, within a short walk of the quay at St Goustan - a beautiful medieval port. We were lucky with the weather and were out most days exploring the gorgeous Breton coastline and countryside - the gite is ideally placed for this. The WIFI was good, we didn't use the TV. Points to remember: You'll need to take your own bedding, though duvets are supplied. The toilet/shower room is on the ground floor, the bedrooms are upstairs. No towels, toilet paper, liquid soap and washing up liquid supplied, a tea towel for kitchen was. Overall, a really enjoyable stay and would return again.

The property is in an ideal location and reasonably well equipped, but there are two points to raise; 1)Sheets for the bed cost 20euro per week and I only got this information a couple of days beforehand and we were already en route. 2)The futon in the salon makes for very uncomfortable seating at night. Otherwise it was all good.

We really enjoyed our stay at St Goustan. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The outdoor table and chairs were a bonus. It’s a short walk down to the historic port which we loved, and then just a bit further into the town of Auray for more cafes, shops and a good bakers. Also a lovely walk along the river to Bono. Great location too for visiting Vannes and the surrounding coast and countryside which is beautiful - highly recommend this property.

I couldnt fault this place. For the price we paid it was really jood value for money. Just down the road from the port. Quiet. Private parking right outside the door. A little up and down. Very practical, had everything we needed. Friendly owner. Just some confusion over adding linen as an extra but we took our own in the end. Would recommend :)

The property is located in a narrow backstreet minutes walk from the port itself. Parking was available in the courtyard outside the door which is a definite bonus in Saint Goustan. Yannick the owner was there to greet us on arrival and any queries we had before our stay he had responded to very quickly. He made it clear that he was readily available should we have any questions, problems during our stay or if we needed any advice about the locality, without being obtrusive . The property was as expected with a well equipped kitchen and all that you needed for a comfortable stay . There was plenty of local information in the property although a lot of it was in French. It is a lovely area to explore even if we had to do most of it in the pouring rain. The coastline and places we visited were very picturesque and there is plenty to see without having to travel miles. If we returned to this area in the future we would not hesitate to return to this property.

We really enjoyed our stay. The Gite is small but had everything we needed. It is in a very quiet location with a short walk to St Gaustan harbour. The area is lovely, with the Golfe du Morbihan on the doorstep. The proprietors Yannick was keen to ensure everything was OK for us.

Lovely property in really great location

Just spent a week in this gite in Saint Goustan. The gite is one of three in a small courtyard just off a lane. There is ample parking (we had a convertable sportscar). The Port area is stunning with loads of cafe's and restaurants and very popular with holiday makers. Great atmosphere. Short walk downhill to the quay - took just a couple of minutes. Plenty of attractions within about 30 miles of the gite. The owner M Finjean was really friendly and easy to deal with despite our limited french and his limited english!. The property was spotless and superb.(dont be put off by the title a T2 Duplex is just a split level apartment) comprising ground floor kitchen, living area and bathroom with double and single beds upstairs. The accommodation has everything you need (except for WiFi!) We had a fantastic holiday here and would thoroughly recommend it.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement très agréable au calme tout en étant situé à 5 minutes à pied du petit port si pittoresque de st Goustan. Auray est une vile idéalement situé pour qui veut découvrir le golfe de Morbihan et ses environs. L'accueil que nous avons reçu a été très agréable et les propriétaires ont su nous communiquer en quelques mots l'amour de leur région. C'est avec plaisir que nous recommandons cette location
