The location near Amboise was convenient for our stop off. It was easy to access and the host was very communicative. The accommodation itself had rustic charm in a medieval converted building.
While the property was charming, the exposed open stone cellar room adjoining the living room created a damp smell. The accommodation was clean, however we had an unfortunate incident in the night - my 10 year old son was sleeping in the downstairs sofa bed and was kept up well past midnight due to the sound and sight of mice running around. He was very upset, unsettled and unable to sleep due to this.
